Stree 2 goes on floors

Earlier, we reported that Stree 2, a sequel to Amar Kaushik’s 2018 horror-comedy, will hit the theatres on August 31, 2024. The latest report is that the team has commenced the film's production. The film stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Stree was a hit at the box office. Recently, Shraddha flew down to Chanderi to join the sets of Stree 2.

In April, the makers announced the release date at Jio Studios’ Infinite Together event. Actors Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee were present at the event to make the official announcement. They even enacted a skit to reveal the release date.
