Shraddha Kapoor jets off to Chanderi to shoot for Stree 2

Earlier, we reported that Stree 2, a sequel to Amar Kaushik’s 2018 horror-comedy, will hit the theatres on August 31, 2024. The latest report is that actor Shraddha Kapoor has flown to Chanderi to begin shooting for Stree 2. It may be noted that the film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurana, and Pankaj Tripathi. Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, Stree was a hit at the box office. 

In April, the makers announced the release date at Jio Studios’ Infinite Together event. Actors Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee were present at the event to make the official announcement. They even enacted a skit to reveal the release date. Meanwhile, Shraddha was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
