Sonam Kapoor will be returning to acting after a gap of four years with Shome Makhija's highly anticipated Blind. The upcoming movie is the official remake of a 2011 Korean film which went by the same title. The plot revolves around a blind police officer who is on the hunt for a serial killer.
Reportedly, the film’s makers have decided to go for a direct-to-OTT release for the thriller film. They are of the opinion that the film could have its premiere on an OTT platform, due to the uncertainty at the box office now. They are yet to reveal the name of the OTT platform.
Blind has been co-produced by Sujoy Ghosh who is also at the helm of and producing the upcoming The Devotion Of Suspect X which has Kareena Kapoor Khan as the protagonist.
Blind also has Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak and Lillete Dubey essaying pivotal roles.
