Akshay Oberoi to play Squadron Leader ‘Bash’ in Fighter

Actor Akshay Oberoi took to social media on Wednesday to unveil the poster of Squadron Leader Basheer Khan aka ‘Bash’, the character he plays in the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer aerial-actioner Fighter.

He shared the poster, in which he is seen donning a moustache and wearing green air force gear, and wrote the caption, “Squadron Leader Basheer Khan Call Sign: Bash Designation: Weapon System Operator Unit: Air Dragons #Fighter Forever.”

Earlier, Hrithik, Deepika, Anil Kapoor and Karan Singh Grover’s character posters were revealed by the makers. While Hrithik plays Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania aka ‘Patty’, Deepika plays Squadron Leader Minal Rathore aka ‘Minni’, Anil is in the role of Group Captain Rakesh Jai Singh aka ‘Rocky’ and Karan is playing the part of Squadron leader Sartaj Gill. The film’s teaser was also released recently.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Fighter is backed by Ajit Andhare (Viacom18 Studios), Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande. It will hit the theatres on January 25, 2024.
