Hrithik Roshan took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, to reveal the first look of his character Shamsher Pathania from his upcoming aerial actioner Fighter. The film, also starring Anil Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, is directed by Siddharth Anand.
In the character poster, Hrithik can be seen, clean-shaved, in his green air force pilot gear, looking intensely at the screen. The post’s caption unveiled more details about the character. “Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania Call Sign: Patty Designation: Squadron Pilot Unit: Air Dragons,” the caption read.
The film is backed by Ajit Andhare (Viacom18 Studios), Mamta Anand, Ramon Chibb, and Anku Pande. During a previous conversation about the film, the director expressed that Fighter is one of their dream projects, and they aspire to showcase Indian films to action-loving global theatrical audiences.
The film is set to hit the theatres on January 25, 2024.
