Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti deny Made in Heaven episode 4 being based on Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif

Made in Heaven has been making the headlines almost every other day, ever since the release of its second season last week. While some have been due to controversies, some others have been due to audience interpretations.  Audiences are now comparing the 4th episode to the relationship Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif once shared.

The 4th episode of the new season revolves around actors Sarfaraz Khan (Pulkit Samrat) and Leila's (Elnaaz Norouzi) wedding. Denying rumours about its comparison, Zoya recently said in an interview with Mid-Day, "I directed the episode in Season 1 with Pulkit, and I had a blast. People really liked him in the show. For a lot of shows, there are recurring characters. So when we were writing, we thought we should get him back and get him married. We weren't really thinking of Salman and Katrina. But you are, and I guess that's how art works."

Further, Reema said, "You can interpret it how you like."

Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Alankrita Shrivastava and Neeraj Ghaywan are the directors of the series. Starring Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Mona Singh, Trinetra Haldar, Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi, the series is now available to stream on Prime Video.
