Farhan Akhtar starts penning his new script
Farhan's last writing credit was on Toofaan
Farhan Akhtar has started writing a new script, which is said to be his next project. Farhan's last full-length screenplay was for Don 2 - The King Is Back, released in 2010 and co-written with Ameet Mehta and Amrish Shah. More recently, Farhan had a story credit on Toofaan (2021).
Ritesh Sidhwani, the co-founder of Excel Entertainment along with Farhan, took to his social media to share a snap from Farhan’s study where the actor is seen in his writer mode.
"100% focus even when he’s putting pen to paper (err.. fingers to keyboard) @faroutakhtar is back in writer mode after a long hiatus. Guess what he’s working on…” Ritesh wrote.
Farhan is next directing Jee Le Zaraa, a road trip film starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Alia Bhatt, and Katrina Kaif. He will also appear in the superhero-themed Ms Marvel under the MCU.
