Chakki trailer shows a businessman's tiff with a corrupt electricity board

The trailer of Chakki, the upcoming film starring Rahul Bhat and Priya Bapat, was released on Tuesday. 

Directed by Satish Mundra, the film will release on October 7. The trailer shows Rahul, a businessman running a flour grinding mill. His happy and sorted life takes an unexpected turn when a hefty electricity bill is mounted on him. He is then pushed to visit the electricity board every day to resolve the issue. The film explores the struggles of a common man in a corrupt system. The title refers to the endless menial loop signified by a flour grinder.

Produced by Bharat Ninderwal under his banner Ninderwal Productions Private Limited, Chakki is released by Shiladitya Bora’s Platoon Distribution, and Umesh Shukla (Oh My God, 102 Not Out) is presenting the film.

Th film has music by the Indian Ocean band, and singers like Pappon, Monali Thakur and the late KK have sung the songs. The lyrics are penned by veteran writer Piyush Mishra and national award-winner Varun Grover. The technical crew also includes director of photography Tribhuvan Babu Sadineni, editor Suresh Pai and art director Shekhar Yadav.
