Brahmastra teaser out: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt promise a VFX-heavy fantasy ride

The teaser of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt-starrer Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, dropped on Tuesday. The trailer of Ayan Mukerji’s epic saga will be released on June 15. The film will hit the theatres on September 9.

The teaser is a mix of dazzling special effects with first look of actors being shown. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, we see Amitabh Bachchan wearing a jacket and walking towards a flaming blue sword. Mouni Roy is walking amidst red flames. Nagarjuna Akkineni is standing in the backdrop of picturesque mountains. The first glimpse suggests a quest to attain the divine weapon, Brahmastra. It ends with a voiceover, “The game begins.”

Earlier today, Ranbir was garlanded with a crane in Vishakhapatnam, where he went with SS Rajamouli and Ayan Mukerji to promote the film. Last month, a sneak peek of the movie’s first song Kesariya was shared by the makers.
