Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram on Sunday to express gratitude on the occasion of Masaan, his debut film as the lead, competing seven years in Hindi cinema.
The actor posted a slew of photos from the film. The pictures show Vicky with co-actors Shweta Tripathi Sharma and Richa Chadha. Director Neeraj Ghaywan is also seen in one of the photos.
"7 saal ho gaye! Dil se shukriya.#Masaan (It's been 7 years. A heartfelt gratitude)," he captioned the post.
Vicky’s co-stars and other actors, directors also commented on the post.
Shweta Tripathi took to the comment section and posted a ‘namaste' emoji. Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar said: "What a film and how sublime were you? Congratulations." Neeraj Ghaywan dropped a series of emoticons including balloons, fire and a train. Vicky's close friend and actor Ishaan Khatter called the special day a Masaan day for the actor. Masaan is an independent drama film. It was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and won two awards.
