Karan Tacker recently starred in Neeraj Pandey's Khakee: The Bihar Chapter series. The actor essayed the lead role, Amit Lodha. The series is based on a true story of an IPS officer named Amit Lodha, known for ‘eliminating’ some of the most notorious criminals in Bihar.

A few days after the release, the actor took to his Instagram handle to express his gratitude to Amit. He wrote, "I want to take this moment to thank the man who made it possible. Had it not been for his struggles, we would not have had a story to tell. IPS Amit Lodha, thank you for your efforts and the life you lived that I got to emulate on celluloid. I'm forever indebted to you sir, not only as an actor but also as a citizen, who feels safe and secure because of men and women like you in uniform. Jai Hind! (sic)

Earlier in conversation with us, Neeraj revealed that he was intrigued by the life of an IITian who chose IPS over IAS and how the story of someone born and brought up in Rajasthan gets into Bihar for his first posting. "It was a fascinating fish-out-of-water story for us. I realised that this could be made into a story that audiences would relish," Neeraj added.

Karan had earlier collaborated with Neeraj for the Special Ops series.
