Shabash song from Jaadugar played in Commonwealth Games to motivate Indian players

Jaadugar is streaming on Netflix

The song Shabash, from the recently-released streaming film Jaadugar, was recently played to motivate the players representing the Indian contingent at the ongoing Commonwealth Games in the UK's Birmingham.

Reacting to the news, Jitendra Kumar, the film's lead actor expressed his joy. He said, "I am beyond ecstatic. It is indeed a big thing for any actor. Never did we imagine that our song would attain this milestone. The song has been beautifully sung by Vivek Hariharan and Niloptal Bora."

In the film, the song is played to encourage and boost the morale of the gully football players. As the Indian athletes continue to make the nation proud at one of the biggest sporting events in the world, being a part of their journey even in a compact manner like this, swells Jitendra’s heart with pride.

The actor plays Meenu, a small-time magician in the football-crazed town of Neemuch. Meenu is great with tricks but can't seem to acquit himself on the football ground—nor does he care. However, when love strikes in the form of Isha (Arushi Sharma), it becomes imperative for Meenu to join his ragtag colony team, coached by a stout Jaaved Jaaferi, and see it to victory. Jaadugar is streaming on Netflix.
