Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are scheduled to get married next week. As the big day draws nearer, conflicting reports state the event will happen on April 13, 14 or 17.
The wedding will happen according to traditional Punjabi rituals and a langar might be offered after the ceremony. However, Ranbir and Alia will not be physically present at the langar, reports speculate.
There is also conjecture over the wedding venue. While some state it is RK House in Chembur, Mumbai, others have named ‘Vastu’, Ranbir’s Bandra home, as the marriage spot.
When it comes to the couple’s honeymoon destination, it could either be South Africa or Switzerland, where Alia is slated to shoot for Rocky aur Rani ki Prem Kahani and where husband-to-be Ranbir might accompany her.
Meanwhile, on the internet, an old reception invite of Ranbir’s parents—late actor Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor—has gone viral. The Khel Khel Mein actors tied the knot at RK studios in 1980 and the event was attended by the bigwigs of Hindi film industry.
