

Actors Eva Longoria and Eugenio Derbez are set to headline the upcoming film Marcelo in the Real World, directed by Lucia Puenzo.
The film, produced by Zeta Studios and Elefantec Global, is an adaptation of Francisco X Stork's novel. Joining Longoria and Derbez are Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Ema Gimenez Zapiola, and Matthew Borrero. The film revolves around the challenges faced by a young man with autism spectrum disorder as he navigates the modern-day cutthroat society.
With her popular credits including The Sentinel (2006), The Heartbreak Kid (2007), Lowriders (2016), Overboard (2018), and Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019), Longoria has had five releases in 2025. She has All-Star Weekend and The Last Sunrise in the pipeline.
Derbez, meanwhile, has been a part of the Spanish Latin American versions of films like Dr Dolittle, Shrek, Hellboy, and The Angry Birds Movie. He will next star in Baton.
