JioHotstar is set to offer a live stream of the 78th Emmy Awards on September 15, Tuesday. The streamer announced the news recently with a social media post, captioned, "The best of television comes together for one unforgettable night. Catch the Emmys LIVE on 15th September on JioHotstar." The Red Carpet event will start at 4:30 am IST, followed by the Main Awards function at 5:30 am.
JioHotstar has the exclusive streaming rights to Emmys 2026 in India. The event takes place in the USA on September 14, Monday, but the schedule for India differs due to the difference in time zones. The event will also be available on a video-on-demand basis.
Leading the Emmy Awards nominations in 2026 is The Pitt, with as many as 25 nods. Closely following the aforementioned series in the list of Emmy contenders is Hacks, which has bagged 24 nominations. Notably, Hacks, which has broken the record for the highest nomination count for a comedy web series, is available on JioHotstar. It is also worth noting that JioHotstar streams Emmy-nominated series such as DTF St. Louis (17 nominations), The Bear (15 nods), All Her Fault (15 nods), The Gilded Age (13 nominations), Abbott Elementary (10 nods), Only Murders in the Building (10 nominations), and Euphoria (9 nods).
