Latest to join director Becca Gleason's Upgraded 2 is actor Leslie Bibb (Iron Man). She will star opposite the returning star and producer Camila Mendes. Also returning are scribes Luke Roberts and Justin Matthews, who penned the first film.
With the filming of the second film set to begin in Italy later this month, the story details are under wraps. The first film had Mendes play an ambitious art auction house intern, Ana. She misrepresents herself as the house's director to a wealthy and handsome man. Her lie creates curveballs that could threaten her career and relationship.
Recently seen in season five of HBO's Hacks, opposite Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, she also starred in a lead role in season three of the hit series The White Lotus. Her other film credits include Law Abiding Citizen (2009), Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009), A Good Old Fashioned Orgy (2011), Miss Nobody (2013), Zookeeper (2011), and Juror #2 (2024).
