Ali Wong (Beef), Miranda Cosgrove (Despicable Me) and Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones) have been attached to the star cast of the season 6 of Abbott Elementary, in guest roles. The trio joins other guest stars Ayo Edebiri, Leslie Odom Jr, and Taraji P Henson.
With the series dropping episodes every Wednesday night on JioHotstar, two episodes have already been released. The fifth season witnessed Janine Teagues (Quinta Brunson) and Gregory Eddie (Tyler James Williams) reconcile and bury their differences, and the titular school getting saved from closure. However, it comes with a caveat: the sixth season is set to face a new set of problems.
This season so far has Janine giving her classroom a new makeover, whereas Gregory struggles to balance his teaching with the administrative promotion as an assistant principal.
In addition to Quinta and Tyler, the series also stars Janelle James, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Lisa Ann Walter, William Stanford Davis, and Chris Perfetti.
