We had previously reported that Jennifer Aniston is teaming up with Peter Dinklage for Universal's upcoming holiday comedy, Naughty. The film is directed by Olivia Wilde from a screenplay by Jimmy Warden. The latest update from the makers is that Regina Hall, who recently starred in films like The Sheep Detectives and One Battle After Another, has joined the star cast.
Hall's role in the film has not yet been revealed. However, it is being speculated that she will play Aniston's friend, who joins her on her trip to the North Pole.
Regina Hall has had The Sheep Detectives and Scary Movie released this year. In addition to her portrayal of Brenda Meeks in the Scary Movie franchise, her credits include Law Abiding Citizen (2009), Girls Trip (2017), and The Best Man (1999). She will be seen starring in Judgment Day, opposite Will Ferrell, Zac Efron, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Benny Safdie-Dwayne Johnson's Lizard Music.
Described as a follow-up to the director's critically acclaimed The Invite, Naughty centres on single mother Mallory (Aniston). In her bid to secure custody of her son from her gaslighting ex, she has to find Santa Claus (Dinklage) and convince him to testify at her divorce hearing.
Naughty, produced by LuckyChap, is set for release on November 5, 2027.
