The production of Twilight of the Dead, starring Kate Beckinsale and Betty Gabriel, has concluded. This film comes in the line of the late George A Romero's Land of the Dead (2005), Diary of the Dead (2007), and Survival of the Dead (2009). The Paz Brothers, Doron and Yoav Paz, are directing the new film based on Romero’s story.
Romero, before he passed in 2017, penned a treatment for the film and regarded it as the conclusion to his epic saga spanning six films, various remakes and spinoffs.
The director-duo have previously helmed films like The Golem and Plan A. Starring alongside Beckinsale and Gabriel are Phil Burke, Abigail London, Kurt Deimer, Cooper Barnes, John D Hickman, and Tait Fletcher.
The film is set on a "decimated earth" where the last imprints of human existence are caught between warring factions and a prevalent threat that refuses to die down. Sarah Donnelly and John Baldecchi of the Roundtable Entertainment team are producing the film.
