Alan Ritchson is a professional thief who gets the craziest heist gig in the history of thefts in the trailer for The Man with the Bag. Also starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Awkwafina, the trailer for the Prime Video Christmas film was unveiled by the platform on Monday.
Alan Ritchson plays Vance, who is charming but barely out-of-prison and wishes to spend one crime-free Christmas with his daughter. He is enlisted by none other than Santa Claus himself, portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger. Santa informs Vance that his bag was stolen by a naughty, greedy elf, played by Awkwafina.
The stakes are high because if the bag is not found and returned, Christmas will be cancelled. Vance, along with his daughter and Santa, form a misfit trio that goes on a heist to steal back what's rightfully theirs. The trailer promises an entertaining festive flick.
Adam Shankman is the director of The Man with the Bag, which has a script by Allan Rice. Ritchson has also produced the film apart from starring. The rest of the producers include Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman and Dan Spilo. Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, and Jane Krakowski are also starring in the upcoming film.
The Man with the Bag, which features Arnold's return to the Christmas genre after 30 years, is all set to premiere on the streamer on December 2.
