

On Friday night, Netflix dropped a BTS photograph from its political series, titled Kennedy, offering a first look at Michael Fassbender's titular character in it. Showrunner Sam Shaw's series stars Fassbender as Joseph Patrick Kennedy, politician and former American President John F Kennedy's father. The latest update comes a few days after the streamer announced its cast additions for the series. As reported previously, it also stars Laura Donnelly as Joseph Patrick Kennedy's wife Rose Kennedy. The actors playing the couple's children are Nick Robinson (Joe Kennedy Jr), Joshuah Melnick (Jack Kennedy), Georgina Bitmead (Eunice Kennedy), Saura Lightfoot-Leon (Kick Kennedy), Miley Locke (younger Kick), Lydia Peckham (Rosemary Kennedy), and Tipper Seifert-Cleveland (younger Rosemary).
The cast includes Ben Miles (Eddie Moore), Cole Doman (Lem Billings), Imogen Poots (Gloria Swanson), and Wyatt Russell (Charles Lindbergh). Also part of the cast are Patrick Fischler (Arthur Krock), Caitlin FitzGerald (Clare Boothe Luce), Louis Landau (Billy Cavendish), Robin Soans (Neville Chamberlain), Denis O’Hare (Raymond Furness), Albert Welling (Winston Churchill), Toby Huss (Franklin D Roosevelt), and Eddie Marsan ( J Edgar Hoover).
Currently in production, the series "explores the lives, loves, rivalries and tragedies that shaped the most iconic dynasty in modern history," according to Netflix's official description. It is an adaptation of Fredrik Logevall's book JFK: Coming of Age in the American Century, 1917-1956.
