

Within a week of its debut, the trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has crossed 1 billions views, setting a record. The upcoming superhero flick is set to open in theatres on July 31.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is the first in a new trilogy of Spider-Man films, is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. He has previously directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Wonder Man, which he co-created and served as an executive producer. The film's script has been written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal are producing the film. Columbia Pictures, Marvel Studios, and Pascal Pictures are backing the film,
Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are returning as MJ and Ned Leeds. The cast also features Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, Marvin Jones III as Lonnie Lincoln/Tombstone and Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/The Punisher. Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Liza Colon-Zayas are also part of the film.
While the details of the film's plot is yet to be unveiled, the film's trailer hinted at Peter Parker, combatting crime in New York alone, as he tries to reconnect with his former friends who has since forgotten him.
