Elle Fanning as Margot is at the centre of a massive financial crisis after becoming a young mother in Margo's Got Money Troubles—And the only way out, she figures, is generating money through posting "attractive" pictures on the internet.

The first trailer for the comedy drama, which is scheduled for release on Apple TV on March 15, shows Margot falling in love with her professor (Michael Angarano). One thing leads to another, and she becomes pregnant. After an emotional ordeal, she seeks the help of her mother Shyanne (Michelle Pfieffer) and chooses to keep the child. But soon, she realises the mounting diaper costs and bills to keep the baby alive, were not going to pay for itself. So, Margo gets on a mission to find any job that sustains her and when she finds a lucrative one, it invites legal issues, stigma and familial tensions.

David E Kelley is the creator of Margo's Got Money Troubles, which he adapted from Rufi Thorpe's novel of the same name. A "bold, heartwarming and comedic family drama", the cast of Margo's Got Money Problems also stars Nicole Kidman, Nick Offerman, Thaddea Graham, Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Rico Nasty and Lindsey Normington.

The series is produced for Apple TV by A24. Kelley serves as showrunner and writer, and serves as executive producer alongside Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning and Brittany Kahan Ward for Lewellen Pictures; Kidman and Per Saari of Blossom Films; and Matthew Tinker for David E. Kelley Productions. Pfeiffer, Thorpe, Eva Anderson and Boo Killebrew also executive produce. BAFTA and Emmy Award winner Dearbhla Walsh directs the pilot and serves as an executive producer. Additional directors include Kate Herron and Alice Seabright.

The eight-episode series will premiere on April 15 with three episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through May 20, 2026.
