

With just a week to go for the star-studded Oscars ceremony for this year, the Academy has announced its official presenters for the event and Priyanka Chopra has once again made it to the list. She will be presenting alongside some big names which include Will Arnett, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal and Gwyneth Paltrow, among others.
They join the previously announced presenters Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldaña.
This is not the first time The Bluff actor was announced to take part in the prestigious ceremony. She had previously presented an Oscar in 2016, while Deepika Padukone had also taken part as a presenter in 2023, the year that saw SS Rajamouli's RRR winning Best Original Song for 'Naatu Naatu'. In addition to Oscars, Priyanka has also previously presented for Golden Globe Awards and Primetime Emmy Awards.
The 98th Academy Awards, which is scheduled to take place on March 15 (airing on March 16 in India), will be hosted by Conan O'Brien for the second time.
This year, Ryan Coogler-Michael B Jordan's Sinners is in the leading position with a whopping 16 nominations, followed by Paul Thomas Anderson-Leonardo DiCaprio's One Battle After Another with noms in 13 categories.
Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, Josh Safdie's Marty Supreme and Joachim Trier's Sentimental Value had garnered 9 nominations each. Meanwhile, Chloe Zhao's Hamnet has been nominated in 8 categories.A new category has been added to the roster this year. For the first time casting directors will receive an Oscar for Best Casting.
