Actor Daisy Edgar-Jones is in final talks to star in the film adaptation of Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, the best-selling novel from author Gabrielle Zevin.

Released in 2022, the modern love story is set cross several decades and follows childhood friends developers Sadie Green and Sam Masur who reunite while both studying at universities and follows them as they become creative partners in the video game business along with roommate and friend Marx Watanabe during the boom in the video game industry in the 1990s-2000s. Together, they developed a successful video game studio Unfair Games. Edgar-Jones will play Sadie Green, a talented game designer.

The upcoming film will be directed by Siân Heder from a screenplay based on drafts by Mark Bomback and Zevin.

Temple Hill’s Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and Isaac Klausner will produce Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, while Gabrielle Zevin will be attached as an executive producer.

Daisy Edgar-Jones first rose to prominence with her performance opposite Paul Mescal in the acclaimed 2020 limited series Normal People. She later appeared in commercially successful films such as Where the Crawdads Sing (2022) and Twisters (2024). Her other film credits include On Swift Horses and Fresh.

Looking ahead, Edgar-Jones is set to star in the much-anticipated new adaptation of Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, directed by Georgia Oakley. She will also set to feature alongside Denzel Washington and Robert Pattinson in director Fernando Meirelles’ upcoming film Here Comes the Flood for Netflix. Additionally, she will appear in Chloe Dumont’s thriller A Place in Hell, co-starring Michelle Williams and Andrew Scott.
