For a long time, the actors chose silence and professional commitments over the speculation about their marriage. Finally, Tom Holland has laid the speculation to rest. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that he and Zendaya have tied the knot at a private ceremony.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, Holland stated, "The wedding has already happened. You missed it." The actor's confirmation comes not long after his partner's stylist, named Law Roach, said that their marriage had already happened.
In another recent conversation with Esquire, Holland addressed the speculation in light of the AI-generated pictures that were doing the rounds shortly after Zendaya played coy with the rumour in a Jimmy Kimmel show episode.
Zendaya neither denied nor confirmed the speculation during her conversation with Kimmel. When Kimmel broached the speculation regarding her marriage with no mention of Holland, Zendaya responded saying, "Really? To Tom?" However, she also smiled. She revealed the photographs purported to be from their wedding were AI-generated as well.
Meanwhile, Holland revealed that his grandmother felt offended about a non-invitation, as she took the pictures for real images and confirmation of his marriage with Zendaya. The actor told Esquire that his other relatives attended the wedding ceremony and refused to speak further about the topic. Holland also spoke about his relationship with Zendaya during the interview. Calling it "a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time," he said, "I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever."
On the work front, Tom Holland and Zendaya will next be seen together in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
