

The makers of the upcoming international action film The Furious announced that its release date has been pushed by a week from June 12 to June 19. The film is made in made in English, Mandarin, and Tagalog.
Directed by Kenji Tanigaki, the film had its world premiere at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September last year.
The film is about a father who will stop at nothing to rescue his abducted daughter from a dangerous group of criminals. Makers describe the action film as having an emotional core. The Furious, while filled with gripping chase sequences and brutal confrontations, has a powerful emotional undercurrent.
The makers promise that the film will offer an intense cinematic experience, blended with edge-of-your-seat action sequences and moments that highlight the unbreakable bond between a father and daughter.
Tanigaki has directed The Furious with a screenplay by Mak Tin-Shu, Lei Zhilong, Frank Hui, and Shum Kwan-sin. The film stars Mo Tse, Yang Enyou, Joe Taslim, Jeeja Yanin, Brian Le, Yayan Ruhian, and Joey Iwanaga.
Bill Kong, Frank Hui, and Shan Tam have produced the film, which has a technical team comprising cinematographer Meteor Cheung, editor Chris Tonick, and music composers Elliot Leung, Flying Lotus, and Olivia Xiaolin.
