Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially sealed their never-ending song! The star couple, who have been making headlines since their engagement last August, are finally married. A representative for Swift confirmed the news. Adding on to the happy moment, the couple's longtime friend Adam Sandler officiated the wedding. Their brothers were the man of honor and best man, skipping bridesmaids or groomsmen.
The pop star and football player exchanged their rings at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Soon after the wedding, a banner outside the Midtown Manhattan arena proclaimed "JUST&T MARRIED" on Friday.
According to reports, the bride and groom’s outfits were custom made by acclaimed designer brand Christian Dior Haute Couture and its designer Jonathan Anderson. Shoes for Kelce were created by Christian Louboutin while Swift wore Cartier jewelry.
The big ceremony drew massive crowds outside the venue, with fans lining up to catch a glimpse of the couple. Viral videos circulating on the internet showed many high-end cars reaching the venue, leading to traffic blockage.
Hollywood's A-listers made a beeline to the venue including Hugh Grant and Jason Sudeikis, singer Benson Boone and model Gigi Hadid. Seattle Seahawks receiver and recent Super Bowl champ Cooper Kupp, New York Giants receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, NFL announcer Joe Buck and Jenny Han, author of the The Summer I Turned Pretty series, also entered the arena. Media reports suggest several of Swift's close friends, including Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, Emma Stone and Gigi Hadid, are likely to be among those attending the festivities. Television presenter Graham Norton was also spotted arriving at New York's JFK Airport ahead of the reported celebrations.
While details regarding the actual festivities are unknown, a "pre-party" happened where almost 100 people reportedly were in attendance. It followed by the actual wedding day where a larger event was erected outside.
Swift and Kelce started dating in 2023. In December that year, she admitted to her relationship and since then, they both have been outspoken about their love. Travis was also seen in the audience to support Taylor throughout her much-celebrated Eras tour. It was in June 2024 that she declared her relationship on Instagram. For fans, the wedding marks a start of a beautiful, happy chapter in Swift's life as she has often spoken about her past relationships and hurt through her songs.
