The makers of I Love Boosters have released a teaser for the upcoming comedy. I Love Boosters is directed by Boots Riley, who is known for the 2018 film, Sorry To Bother You.
The trailer shows a group of woman, who target specific high fashion stores and boutiques to rob them of the products. The women then 'boost' (sell them at a lower price) thos products. They also have to evade the owner of the chain of stores that they are stealing from.
Keke Palmer leads the cast of the film which includes Naomi Ackie, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu, Eiza Gonzalez, LaKeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore.
While Sorry To Bother You, which also starred Stanfield, was released in 2018, Riley also created the surrealistic miniseries I'm A Virgo (2023), which is currently streaming on Prime Video.
