The makers of Star Wars: Maul — Shadow Lord has released the trailer for the series. The upcoming animated series is set to premiere early this year in JioHotstar.
Star Wars: Maul — Shadow Lord is created by Dave Filoni who also serves as an executive producer on the show. Filoni developed the series along with Matt Michnovetz. Meanwhile Brad Rau is serving as supervising director on the series. Star Wars: Maul — Shadow Lord will have 10 episodes in its first season.
Sam Witwer, who voiced the character of Darth Maul in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is reprising his role for Star Wars: Maul — Shadow Lord. The cast also includes Gideon Adlon as Devon Izara, Wagner Moura as Brander Lawson, and Richard Ayoade as Two-Boots, Dennis Haysbert as Master Eeko-Dio-Daki, Chris Diamantopoulos as Looti Vario, Charlie Bushnell as Rylee Lawson, Vanessa Marshall as Rook Kast, David C Collins as Spybot, AJ LoCascio as Marrok, and Steve Blum as Icarus.
Set after the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars the upcoming series follows Darth Maul as he seeks to re-establish his criminal syndicate.
