Sam Rockwell is from the future and forms a team with a motley group of people in Los Angeles to save the world in the trailer of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die. The science fiction action-adventure comedy is helmed by Gore Verbinski and written by Matthew Robinson.
The trailer shows Sam Rockwell as a time traveller who hijacks an iconic Los Angeles diner and takes the guests hostage, informing them that the world is coming to an end. We see how artificial intelligence has turned rogue and threatening in their world. The group formed with Haley Lu Richardson, Michael Pena, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chaudhry, and Juno Temple, along with Rockwell, then embark on the journey of saving the world.
Tom Taylor, Dino Fetscher, Anna Acton, Daniel Barnett, and Dominique Maher also star in prominent roles in Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die. The official description of the film reads, "A man claiming to be from the future takes the patrons of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world."
Verbinski is best known for helming the first three Pirates of the Caribbean films and Rango. The film previously premiered at the 2025 Fantastic Fest. It is all set to open in theatres on February 13, distributed by Briarcliff Entertainment.
