A group of teenagers choose to blow a whistle to "summon the dead", but end up "summoning their death" in the trailer of the upcoming horror film, Whistle. Director Corin Hardy, who made films like The Nun and Gangs of London, has helmed the upcoming film.
The trailer shows a group of high school outcasts stumbling upon an ancient Aztec death whistle, through which they unleash a terrifying curse. As the blood-curdling sound summons their future demises, they must uncover the whistle's dark secrets and break the curse before it's too late.
Whistle stars Dafne Keen, Sophie Nélisse, Sky Yang, Jhaleil Swaby, Ali Skovbye, Percy Hynes White, Michelle Fairley, and Nick Frost. It is adapted from Own Egerton's short story Whistle. The writer has also adapted to the screen. The film is a Canada-Ireland co-production and is backed by David Gross and Macdara Kelleher.
Whistle is all set to open in theatres on February 6.
