

Netflix has revealed that the second season of Beef, will premiere on the platform on April 16. Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan lead the cast of the drama.
Lee Sung Jin, created Beef, for which he also serves as a showrunner. The first season of the series, starring Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, was inspired by Sung Jin's personal road rage experience. Sung Jin also serves as an executive producer alongside Yeun, Wong, Isaac, Mulligan, and season two stars Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny. Director Jake Schreier also serves as an executive producer. A24 backs the series along with Netflix.
The cast of the series also includes Song Kang-ho, who is known for his performance in Parasite (2019). Youn Yuh-jung, Seoyeon Jang, William Fichtner, Mikaela Hoover, and BM, also star in the series.
The story of Beef is as follows, "A young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner."
