YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson, more popularly known as MrBeast, has come back with the second season of his popular reality competition show Beast Games, which started streaming today on Prime Video. MrBeast talked about the upgrade that has been brought to Beast Games season 2, which recently got into the Guinness World Records for having “most macro influencer integrations for a single TV series". The competitive reality television show has become an international phenomenon, said MrBeast. With season two, the show creator tried to upgrade how it "looks, feels and moves" rather than increasing the number of challenges in it or its prize money.
Discussing the upgraded scale of the show, MrBeast said, "We used a camera that cost half a million dollars to film me. Marvel used the same camera to shoot their movies. There’s only 20 of them in the world. And, so like my cameraman had this giant exoskeleton suit on because the camera weighs so much, that it had to distribute the weight over his body because he wouldn’t be able to move around with it. My camera guy was an ex military combat camera person, so they have experience holding that kind of gear."
The creator has greater ambitions for the show, which has been renewed for another season. Speaking about the public figures who are likely to feature in the show next, he said that he would like to invite Dwayne Johnson. "Do you have The Rock’s number? I’d love to invite The Rock. The Rock, Dwayne! DM me on Instagram Dwayne!" he said.
