

Actor Mia Goth, who is starring in Christopher Nolan's epic adaptation of Homer's poem Odyssey, recently talked about her experience working on the film. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Goth said that working on The Odyssey is among the "greatest experiences" in her career so far. She also called it "a profound" experience. Goth stated that she has long been an admirer of Christopher Nolan films. "And so to have that opportunity and to witness him and how he directs was incredible. I took a lot from that," the actor said. Goth added that Nolan has an "enlightening" way of trusting his actors. Goth was speaking at the ongoing Palm Springs International Film Awards, in which she accompanied her Frankenstein team as the Guillermo del Toro directorial won an award there.
The Odyssey stars Mia Goth as a character named Melantho, who is reportedly a maid at King of Ithaca Odysseus (Matt Damon) and Penelope's (Anne Hathaway) palace. The star-studded ensemble cast of the Nolan film includes Robert Pattinson, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, James Remar, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, Himesh Patel, and John Leguizamo, among others.
The film follows the titular king's treacherous journey back home after the Trojan War. Shot fully on IMAX cameras, the film is slated for a July 17 release in theatres worldwide.
Coming back to Goth, the actor's upcoming projects also include Star Wars: Starfighter, co-starring Amy Adams and Ryan Gosling. The film, which hails from director Shawn Levy, is slated for a May 28, 2027, release in theatres.
