Zazie Beetz is prepared to fight Satan when she is rounded up as an offering for the devil in the trailer for They Will Kill You. Directed by Kirill Sokolov and written by Sokolov and Alex Litvak, the film's trailer was unveiled on Monday.
In the trailer, Zazie joins as a maid in the elite Manhattan apartment called Virgil, where she serves extremely wealthy citizens. However, one night, she is picked as an offering for Satan by the elites as a part of their cult rituals. How she survives and escapes the building, which is constructed as a death trap, forms the rest of the story.
As per the official description, They Will Kill You revolves around "a young woman who must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big-screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humour."
Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette also feature in prominent roles in the high-octane horror-action-comedy, which is backed by Nocturna Pictures and New Line Cinema. The film is produced by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Dan Kagan and executive produced by Russell Ackerman, John Schoenfelder, Carl Hampe, Litvak and Sokolov.
Distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, They Will Kill You is scheduled to open in theatres on March 27.
