With Mads Mikkelsen's inclusion in the star cast being the previous update from the makers of legendary filmmaker Martin Scorsese's upcoming film What Happens At Night, reports have surfaced that filming of the project starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence and Patricia Clarkson has commenced in the Czech Republic's capital city, Prague.
Scorsese is directing the film based on Peter Cameron's novel of the same name with a screenplay from Patrick Marber. The film follows a couple (DiCaprio and Lawrence) who take a trip to a small and frigid town in Europe to adopt a child. They decide to adopt as the wife is desperate to have a child, but she couldn't conceive as she suffers from cancer.
Produced by Sikelia Productions, What Happens At Night brings Scorsese, DiCaprio and Apple Original Films after their 2023 collaboration, Killers of the Flower Moon. DiCaprio and Scorsese have previously worked together in Gangs of New York (2002), The Aviator (2004), The Departed (2006), Shutter Island (2010), and The Wolf of Wall Street (2013).
