Actor Jack Reynor (Lee Cronin's The Mummy) is joining Drew Hancock's Seasons, the former's next horror vehicle. Reynor will star alongside Lily James.
Seasons is based on Matt and Harrison Query's viral horror short story that first appeared on Reddit. It was later adapted into a full-length novel. The story is about a husband and wife who buy their dream ranch only to discover the presence of ancient spirits. Their only chance to survive is to yield to the spirits' increasingly disturbing rituals at each season.
The film, which Hancock directs from his own script, is produced by 21 Laps, Blumhouse Atomic Monster, and 12:01 Films.
Reynor is known for his roles in films like Sing Street and Midsommar. He was recently seen starring alongside Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas in Power Ballad. His upcoming projects include the feature film A Colt Is My Passport, produced and directed by Gareth Evans, and he will star opposite Rachel Brosnahan in the second season of Apple's legal thriller Presumed Innocent.
