Actor Mallika Sherawat made a surprise revelation during an appearance on the show The Traitors Season 2. Standup comic Aditya Kulshrestha asked Mallika whether she ever felt a crush on someone or whether everyone else has it on her. Pat came the reply from the actor: "Nahi, sabko mere pe hi aata hai. Tom Cruise ko aaya hua hai aaj kal. Jhoot nahi bol rahi hu" (Everybody has a crush on me. Even Tom Cruise has been having it nowadays. I am not lying).
Interestingly, Mallika Sherawat also said that Cruise has even sent her videos from the time they went partying together. She said, "Mera phone hota, tumko videos dikhati uski" (If I had my phone with me, I would have shown his videos to you). Mallika also commended Cruise, describing him as "fabulous".
Mallika Sherawat and Tom Cruise have never acted together in a film. However, her revelation about Cruise's romantic attraction for her has been trending online ever since she made it on the reality television program.
For the unversed, Mallika is best known for her roles in films such as Khwahish (2003), Murder (2004), Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), and Welcome (2007). She rose to international fame with a role opposite Jackie Chan in 2005's The Myth. The actor has also appeared in English films such as Hisss (2010) and Politics of Love (2011). She last appeared in the 2024 film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri.
Meanwhile, Tom Cruise's most recent film is this year's Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, which marked his departure from the long-running franchise. His upcoming films include Digger with director Alejandro G Iñárritu that is slated for an October 02 release in theatres worldwide.
