No matter how big they are, many public figures have talked about their 'surreal' encounters with their most favourite personalities from the world of entertainment. For example, recently, actor Zac Efron talked about an incident where he was awestruck by Michael Jackson.
In an old episode of the The Graham Norton Show, Efron talked about his conversation with Jackson. Efron said that his High School Musical director Kenny Ortega once handed over the phone with the legendary musician on the line. The actor could not believe who he was talking to, and he introduced himself formally to the pop music legend.
Efron told Jackson that he was a big admirer of the singer and that the latter was like his 'hero'. Graciously accepting the actor's kind words, Jackson said, "'That's really nice. Can you hand the phone back to Kenny?' Meanwhile, Efron added, "And I was freaking out. I just talked to Michael Jackson. He's my hero."
Efron further said that he felt a 'tripping' and 'dizzying' sensation after the conversation with MJ. Jackson called him again and said, "'Oh, this is Zac from High School Musical?' And I was like, ‘Uh, yeah’. And he was like, ‘Oh, I love what you do. I'm a huge fan. I love what you do’. And I lost it. I was like, ‘You know who I am?’. And I just started crying."
Efron added that his emotional outburst made Jackson cry on the phone too. Soon, the musician told him, 'Hey, Zac! Isn't it awesome? Dreams really do come true, don't they?'"
