

The upcoming animated film Return of the Jungle, which was earlier showcased Cannes Film Market, is now gearing up to be released in Indian theatres on May 29.
The film's teaser was unveiled recently and showcased a vivid, imaginative world dominated by animals living in harmony, dancing away in the jungle. Young kids part of contemporary India were also part of the video.
The upcoming film comes from Emmy-nominated animation studio, Vaibhav Studios and is directed by Vaibhav Kumaresh.
According to the makers, Return of the Jungle "presents contemporary India through animation in a way never seen before". The film is positioned as a "modern-day Panchatantra-inspired story with strong Indian roots." "It is a heartwarming, music-driven family film about a group of fourth graders who discover their confidence through the enchanting jungle stories shared by a grandfather," reads the details from the press note.
Speaking about the film, director Vaibhav Kumaresh said, "Return of the Jungle is Indian Animation like you've never seen before. It's a beautiful fusion of contemporary India with our rich folktales. Endearing characters, performances, hugely nostalgic scenarios, music featuring bhajan, calypso and qawwaali, quirky humour, a nail biting game of cricket and a simplicity that touches your soul – ROTJ offers an emotional rollercoaster experience never seen before on Indian screens."
He further added, "ROTJ is for the child in each one of us. It's a wholesome family entertainer - clean, positive and highly inspiring. Every age group will closely connect with the film as they'll see themselves in it."
