Streaming giant Netflix has called it quits on the upcoming film Perfect following the exit by Hollywood star Millie Bobby Brown over creative differences.
Brown was supposed to feature in the film, which was announced in September 2025. The actor would essay Kerri Strug, a member of the 1996 "Magnificent Seven" USA gymnastics team.
Following the recent news of her exit from the project, the streaming platform has scraped the film, according to Deadline.
Filmmaker Cate Shortland was attached to direct the film, with Ronnie Sandahl as screenwriter. Previously, Gia Coppola was directing the project until his exit.
The film was a biopic on Strug, who is known for her performance at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, where she secured the women's gymnastics team gold medal for the USA by vaulting on a severely injured ankle.
The film was set to be produced by the actor under her production banner, PMCA, alongside Nik Bower of Riverstone Pictures and Thomas Benski of Magna Studios.
Brown will next feature in Enola Holmes 3, which is directed by Philip Barantini. She will also appear in Just Picture It, directed by Lee Toland Krieger and an adaptation of her novel Nineteen Steps.
