
Actor Elisha Cuthbert, known for her roles in The Girl Next Door and The Ranch, is set to join the cast of upcoming Prime Video series Every Summer After, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Carley Fortune.
According to reports, Cuthbert will be playing a recurring guest role as Sue Florek, the mother of Sam Florek. She joins previously announced cast members Sadie Soverall as Percy, Matt Cornett as Sam, Aurora Perrineau as Chantal, Abigail Cowen as Delilah, Michael Bradway as Charlie, and Joseph Chiu as Jordie.
Described as a romantic and nostalgic story on first loves, the series is set across a period of six years and one week in a lake town - Barry’s Bay.
