The teaser for the upcoming entrant in the Star Wars universe, The Mandalorian and Grogu has been released. The film is directed by Jon Favreau, who has previously directed Ironman and Chef.
The Mandalorian and Grogu is a continuation of the streaming series The Mandalorian, which followed the story of a bounty hunter who works on the edge of the Galaxy, who is tasked to retrieve Grogu. He instead takes care of the creature as he has to evade Moff Gideon, who wants to exploit Grogu.
Favreau also serves as a producer on The Mandalorian and Grogu along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Ian Bryce. With Pedro Pascal returning as Djin Djardin/The Mandalorian, the rest of the cast of the film includes Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, son of Jabba.
Apart from The Mandalorian and Grogu, the Star Wars universe is also seeing another film in development. Star Wars: Starfighter, which is directed by Taika Waiti and starring Ryan Gosling, is currently filming. The film also stars Matt Smith and Amy Adams.
