
Actors Charles Melton, Rachel Brosnahan and Will Poulter are set to join hands for the upcoming Netflix film Saturn Return. Set in Chicago, the upcoming film is directed by Greg Kwedar, best known for his directorial Sing Sing (2023) written by Gaelyn Golde.
The new film is set to explore themes of love, loss, and life's complicated turns in the 10 years between the aspirational young love of college and the complicated realities of adulthood.
It is not yet known what characters Charles Melton, Rachel Brosnahan and Will Poulter are set to play. Written by Gaelyn Golde with revisions by Kwedar and Clint Bentle, Saturn Return is backed by Emily Wolfe and Plan B.
Brosnahan is known for portraying Midge Maisel in the hit Amazon Prime Video period comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023) and Lois Lane in the latest Superman film from James Gunn. She has also played key roles in House of Cards (2013–2015), Manhattan (2014–2015), Crisis in Six Scenes (2016). Up next, she has William Shakespeare's King Lear adaptation Lear Rex written and directed by Bernard Rose. She will star in the second season of Presumed Innocent from Apple TV+.
Poulter has featured in projects such as Son of Rambow (2007) and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010).
Melton's latest work is Warfare, from Ray Mendoza and Alex Garland, who also penned the script. It followed an encounter on 19 November 2006 after the Battle of Ramadi. The film also starred Poulter and Cosmo Jarvis alongside Melton.
Will Poulter also has Rapture, a genre-bending mediaeval horror drama from playwright and debut filmmaker Jordan Tannahill where he will star alongside Kit Connor, and Manu Ríos. Charles Melton is a part of the upcoming much-anticipated Beef season 2.
