You star Penn Badgley and his wife, Domino Kirke, have become parents once again—this time to identical twin boys.
The actor confirmed the news in an Instagram post, where he announced a live event tied to his upcoming book Crushmore, co-written with his Podcrushed cohosts Nava Kavelin and Sophie Ansari. “Interrupting twin paternity leave to announce a live event @podcrushed at @symphonyspace Oct 14 NYC supporting the release of our book CRUSHMORE. Truly proud of this one. Please check it out! @podcrushed for all info,” he captioned the video.
In the clip, Badgley speaks in a whisper before panning the camera to reveal one of the newborns’ tiny feet. “There are tiny little baby feet right there. I don’t want to wake them up,” he says softly.
The twins join the couple’s 4-year-old son, as well as Kirke’s 16-year-old son, Cassius, from a previous relationship. Ahead of their arrival, the 41-year-old doula and singer had hinted at the pregnancy by sharing a picture of her baby bump on Instagram Stories.
On the red carpet for the premiere of the final season of Netflix’s You, Badgley reflected on the significance of raising boys. “They’re identical boys, so now we have four boys,” he said. “You know, I do mean this sincerely. It sounds a bit tacky, but the world needs more good men, so you know, pressure’s on us to raise them well.”
Asked about his parenting “superpower”, the Easy A actor admitted it comes down to endurance: “Well, it’s my patience until I’ve lost it, and then I’m just as bad as anybody else. But I can be very patient.”
