

The makers of the upcoming film, Scream 7, have unveiled the trailer for the film. While a release date is yet to be announced, the film is set to release in 2026.
Writer of Scream (1996), Kevin Williamson is returning to the franchise, to direct the film. Williamson has written the screenplay for the film along with Guy Busick, from a story by Busick and James Vanderbilt. Spyglass and Paramount Pictures are backing the film.
The cast for the film includes Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Mckenna Grace, Mason Gooding, Michelle Randolph, Isabel May, Joel McHale, Anna Camp, Celeste O'Connor, Matthew Lillard, and Scott Foley, among others.
Starting in 1996, the Scream franchise follows the story of Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) who is pursued by a mysterious killer, Ghostface. She is helped by police officer Dewey (David Arquette) and reporter Gale Weathers (Courtney Cox) in her adventures against the killer.
