Sydney Sweeney is all set to wrap filming for Euphoria in two days. The actor recently revealed the same to Variety at the premiere of her drama film Christy at the AFI Fest in Los Angeles.
With multiple delays to the filming for the third season of the series, Sweeney marked her return to shooting the series after three years. "It’s mostly the same crew, so it feels like I’m going home to family. I’ve grown up with them. I was 20 when I did the pilot, so being able to see a lot of the same people, it feels very comforting," she said when asked about her experience returning back to the sets after a break.
Previously Elordi spoke about season 3 and said that none of the cast members were aware of the storyline for the upcoming season. "Everybody shoots at different storylines,” he said. “I don’t know what anyone else is doing. I had a really singular storyline. You don’t know what the other story lines are. It’s like FBI files. So it’s great because I’ll get to consume the show the same way that everybody else does as a fan, which I haven’t been able to do before. I’m really excited," the actor said. Sweeney is also excited about the prospect of watching it with a fresh pair of eyes. “I feel like I'm going to get to watch it with everyone else," she exclaimed.
Sweeney was very non-committal when asked about a possible fourth season despite HBO announcing that the series will conclude with the forthcoming third season. She said, "I cannot confirm any information."
Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer is all set to compose music for the third season of Euphoria on HBO Max. Euphoria Season 3 will delve into the lives of its younger characters beyond their days in high school. Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, and Sydney Sweeney, among others, are set to return for the upcoming season. The returning cast includes Maude Apatow, Colman Domingo, Alexa Demie, Eric Dane, Martha Kelly, and Chloe Cherry. The latest cast additions include Rosalia, Sharon Stone, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, Toby Wallace, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Priscilla Delgado, James Landry Hebert, and Anna Van Patten.
Meanwhile, post the release of Christy, Sweeney is set to portray Kim Novak in Scandulous, helmed by Colman Domingo. Sweeney also expressed her excitement in meeting Novak, as she said, "I’m going to meet with her. I’m going to work with some movement coaches and dialect coaches and watch and study all of her films. I’m really excited.” The film will revolve around Novak and Sammy Davis Jr's interracial romance in 1957.
