There is some momentum happening with Disney's upcoming Frozen film. Kristen Bell, who reprises her role of Anna in Frozen 3, said that it would go on floors soon. In a conversation with Variety, the actor admitted that she cannot say anything else about the project due to Disney's restrictions. Disney announced the development of Frozen 3 during one of its quarterly earnings call a couple of years ago. Later, the company scheduled it for a November 24, 2027, release in theatres, coinciding with the Thanksgiving festival.
Frozen franchise writer-director Jennifer Lee is coming back for the third part. The first two films, set in a kingdom called Arendelle, also star Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff, and Josh Gad. Bell said that Frozen 3 is still at a concept-building stage. Calling it a "great thing," the actor revealed that the process ensures that each project goes through a series of 'filters,' with everyone contributing "something different". She went on to add, "That’s why the movies plays so well because they hit every single mark because nothing has been missed."
Bell is awaiting the release of her latest second season of the series Nobody Wants This, where she stars alongside Adam Brody. It is set to release on Netflix in November this year.
