Tributes have been pouring in for legendary Hollywood actor Diane Keaton, who passed away on October 11, Saturday. The latest to reminisce about Keaton is Keanu Reeves, her co-star in 2003's Something’s Gotta Give. Speaking at the screening location of his action-comedy Good Fortune in New York, Reeves said to E! News that Keaton was a complete professional. "She was very nice to me. Generous, generous artist and a very special, unique person," the John Wick star said. He added, "It was cool to be able to see her and Jack Nicholson together. Just with the history they shared and the way the fondness and love they had for each other."
Something's Gotta Give stars Keaton as a retired playwright named Erica Barry who falls in love with a doctor (Reeves), also one of her admirers. Amanda Peet, Jon Favreau, and Frances McDormand are also part of the film's cast. The other day, Nancy Meyers, the film's director also paid her tribute to Keaton. Taking to X, Meyers penned, "These past 48 hours have not been easy. Seeing all of your tributes to Diane has been a comfort. As a movie lover, I’m with you all – we have lost a giant. A brilliant actress who time and again laid herself bare to tell our stories. As a woman, I lost a friend of almost 40 years – at times over those years, she felt like a sister because we shared so many truly memorable experiences. As a filmmaker, I’ve lost a connection with an actress that one can only dream of."
